Solar-powered robot

UAF electrical engineering student Matthew Anctil poses with a student-built solar-powered
robot. The robot was designed to travel by itself across all of Greenland, taking
measurements and collecting data along the way. The students received a grant from
NASA to help build it, almost all of which went into purchasing solar panels. Anctil
and other students on the team are now exploring funding sources to finish the robot
and required instrumentation.
