Cooperative Extension Service community sustainability coordinator Rich Seifert and solar technician Greg Egan will teach a solar design workshop Saturday, April 9th in Schaible Auditorium on the UAF campus.
The workshop, “Moving Toward the Ultimate Solar Superinsulated Home,” will run from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
The workshop will cover designing for Alaska’s unique conditions, solar hot water installations, photovoltaics and passive design.
A $15 fee includes a copy of “A Solar Design Manual for Alaska.”
