Sofie Karasek to speak for Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Sofie Karasek, co-founder of End Rape on Campus, will speak at UAF at 7 p.m. April 18 in the Hess Recreation Center on the Fairbanks campus.

EROC is a survivor advocacy organization dedicated to ending sexual violence through survivor support, public education and policy reformation.

Karasek's presentation, titled “Breaking the Silence: The National Student Movement on Sexual Assault," is part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month activities sponsored by the UAF Nanook Diversity and Action Center.
