UA renews contract with SkillSoft

UA has entered a three-year contract renewal with SkillSoft, Corp. for UA employee
e-learning, following approval by the Business Council. The contract, supported by
all of the major administrative units, is now extended until Jan. 30, 2015.
An upgrade of the UA SkillPort learning management system in June 2011 provides enhanced
features for end users. Although users will see a different layout, the many SkillSoft
online resources and the log-in process to access the resources have not changed.
Employees will still login through UAOnline or through a campus webpage using their
UA credentials (UA username and password). University employees who are familiar
with the existing SkillPort system have commented favorably that the new site is easy
to use.
To see and hear tips on navigating through the upgraded site, attend any of the scheduled
online demonstrations:
- Thursday, June 16 at 10 a.m.
- Wednesday, July 20 at 10 a.m.
- Friday, August 19 at 10 a.m.
