Chinese opera film, 'The Wild Boar Forest,' to be shown

The UAF Chinese language, eastern philosophy and Asian studies programs invite you
to a showing of "The Wild Boar Forest," a Chinese opera film with line-by-line English
translation, at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 17, in the auditorium of the Noel Wien Library
on Cowles Street.
"The Wild Boar Forest" is an episode from the Chinese classical novel, "Outlaws of
the Marsh." Come and experience this occasionally heard and rarely seen Chinese opera.
