Facilities Services, Design and Construction

Thank you for your patience and understanding as the sewer line project along Tanana Loop and Yukon Drive progresses. The project will continue in full construction into the early part of August. Final finishes and cleanup are scheduled to be complete by the 2016 fall semester. We realize that the project has gone well beyond the anticipated completion date and the project team at Facilities Services apologizes for the disruption and inconvenience to the individuals and parties in the houses and buildings in the project area.

The sewer line installation, including building service connections, is complete. No additional water outages are expected. Project work continues on the storm drain system and restoration of surface features. Access will continue to be modified and limited to many locations. MACS bus service drop off and pick up will continue from Yukon Drive on the north side of Wood Center. Access to the health center and fire and police departments in the Whitaker Building continues around the north side from the Walsh Hall parking area. Access to Constitution Hall and the Art Department studios in the Fine Arts Complex from Tok Lane continues to be restricted to scheduled deliveries only. The Fine Arts Complex parking lot will remain closed for additional work in the area. Tanana Loop residents will continue to park in the lots for Walsh and Harwood halls. Access to those residences for deliveries can be scheduled.

The project manager is available through the Facilities Services Customer Service Center at 474‐7000 for detailed information about effects on specific locations.

Please bear with us as we continue to improve campus infrastructure and service.
