The UAF ​Geophysical Institute held its annual awards banquet on Friday, Feb. 26, at the GI's home in the Elvey Building, with a reception following in the Mather Library. Director Bob McCoy presented the following awards for 2015:

  • Erin Albertson, Outstanding Staff Performance Award

  • Jay R. Byam, Outstanding Student Performance Award

  • Dale Pomraning, Community Service Award

  • Ed Bueler and Taryn Lopez, Best Faculty Paper Awards

  • Anna Worden and Christian Kienholz, Best Student Paper Awards

  • David Fee, T.K. Moore Prize

  • Neal Brown, Roger Smith Lifetime Achievement Award
