Service dogs community event

The student chapter of the Council for Exceptional Children and Paws for Purple Hearts
are hosting a free community event so people can learn about service dogs and their
mission. Come meet the dogs in training at this family-friendly event Saturday, Nov.
18, from 10:30 a.m.-noon in Room 160 in the University Park Building, 1000 University
Ave. Trainers Betsy and Nathan will explain the socialization and training required
for dogs to pass the service dog test and get their credentials.
