Search for faculty fellow for assessment and accreditation

The Office of the Provost is searching for a half-time faculty fellow to work on all areas of accreditation with a special focus on student learning outcomes assessment. The faculty fellow will work with the vice provost/accreditation liaison officer on assessment at UAF and provide support to programs as they design, implement, and assess student learning outcomes.

The faculty fellow will also participate in assessment activities related to student success and accreditation. This appointment will begin immediately and run through the 2020-2021 academic year with a possibility to renew. Some summer responsibilities will be expected. Exact workload distribution to be negotiated with the respective dean and vice provost.

Qualifications:


  • Full-time faculty with a terminal degree in an academic discipline

  • A record of commitment to assessment and student success

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
