Join the UAF Women's Center and the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Diversity for a special Women's History and Culture Month screening of The Fannie Lou Hamer Story, at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, March 22, in the Schaible Auditorium.

mZuri Moyo, civil rights "freedom fighter" and voter registration activist, wrote and will perform Hamer's story while making connections with current issues and struggles today, 50 years after Hamer worked with the Student nonviolent Coordinating Committee to register black voters in the South.
