Save the date: Staff Recognition and Development Day 2019

The 2019 Staff Recognition and Development Day will be Wednesday, May 8. The day will
begin with the presentation of the Chancellor's Cornerstone Award and the Longevity
Awards from 10-11:30 a.m. A lunch buffet will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The 2019 event will feature three 45-minute presentations instead of classes, as has
been done in recent years. The afternoon session will start at 1 p.m. with video "tours"
of a number of UAF's rural campuses and remote sites throughout Alaska. A wellness
session by Human Resources consultant Peggy Jasperson will be offered at 2 p.m., and
the final presentation, at 3 p.m. will be from Geoff Welch, owner of Date-Line Copies.
An ice cream social will follow.
All events will be held in the Wood Center ballroom. (The buffet will be served in
the Fairbanks Market, the dining area adjacent to the ballroom.) Registration information
will be announced soon.
