RISE Board seeks new members

The Review of Infrastructure, Sustainability and Energy Board is accepting applications for new student members.

The committee recommends uses for the money raised by the student sustainability fee and matching funds provided by UAF Chancellor Brian Rogers. Find out more here: http://www.uaf.edu/sustainability/rise/.

The RISE board has funded 74 projects related to sustainability since 2010. Projects have included solar panels, recycling bins, the Green Bikes program, composting in dorms, the community garden, the electric snowmachine project and many more.
