Flux measurements obtained at the Poker Flat Research Range research tower are now easily accessible through the AmeriFlux Network.

This allows researchers to view and obtain flux data of carbon, water and energy at the tower, which will help build effective models as well as site-specific research programs.

The AmeriFlux Network, hosted by the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, gathers and shares long-term carbon, water and energy flux measurements and site metadata collected by AmeriFlux sites across the Americas.

The PFRR research tower, or PFRR Super-Site, located 30 miles north of Fairbanks, has been in operation since 2009 under the JAMSTEC-IARC Collaboration Study. Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology has been a longtime collaborator with the International Arctic Research Center.
