Research listening sessions: Research integrity, animal care

Vice Chancellor for Research Larry Hinzman invites faculty, staff and students to
participate in upcoming listening sessions covering the Office of Research Integrity
(includes Institutional Review Board) and the animal care program (ARC, ORI and IACUC
process).
Participants are encourage to openly voice comments, suggestions and concerns regarding
the units housed under the VCR office. Each unit will have its own listening session.
Unit employees and directors will be present during the session to promote clear communication.
Participants may come and go as needed.
VCR Hinzman is also available for private discussions. Please schedule an appointment
by emailing his assistant, Cassie Pinkel, at cjpinkel@alaska.edu.

- Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2-3 p.m. — Office of Research Integrity (ORI, includes IRB)
- Friday, Jan. 31, 11 a.m.-noon — Animal care program (animal care program, ORI and IACUC process)
