Registration open for Master Gardener class

Registration is open for a Master Gardener class that will meet 6 – 9 p.m. Mondays
and Wednesdays from Feb. 20 – April 11. The class will meet at the Cooperative Extension
office, 724 27th Ave., on the south side of the Fairbanks Community Food Bank building.
Participants will receive 40 hours of training on horticultural topics and are required
to put in 40 hours of volunteer service to the community. The fee is $125. Participants
receive a copy of Sustainable Gardening: The Alaska Master Gardener Manual.
The registration deadline is Feb. 13: however, since the class usually fills up quickly,
participants are urged to register as soon as possible.
