Raaj Kurapati to succeed Stuart Roberts as UAF’s associate vice chancellor for Financial Services

Raaj Kurapati will succeed Stuart Roberts as UAF’s associate vice chancellor for Financial
Services. Kurapati brings extensive financial management experience in both the private
sector and in academic settings. He currently serves a joint appointment as the executive
officer for the School of Natural Resources and Agricultural Sciences and for Cooperative
Extension Service. Kurapati will begin transitioning into the position July 1 and
will assume full-time responsibilities October 1.
Dave Read will serve as acting associate vice chancellor during the transition. Stuart Roberts retires June 30 after more than 30 years working for UAF and UAA.
