Public lecture: Conflict of turtles and fishers in India

The School of Natural Resources and Agricultural Sciences will host a lecture Friday, April 22 at 2:30 p.m. in 201 O'Neill by Kartik Shanker, assistant professor at the Centre for Ecological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, and founding trustee of Dakshin Foundation. Shanker will discuss conflicts between effective conservation efforts for sea turtles and the livelihood needs of Indian fishermen.
