Charley Brown, UAF's primary patent attorney, will give a presentation and host a Q&A on Monday, Oct. 1, at 9:30 a.m. in the Elvey Globe Room. Brown, from the Ballard Spahr law firm in Atlanta, is UAF's point of contact for all patent applications, even if other Ballard attorneys are the project lead. He has experience prosecuting patents, licensing, dealing with IP strategy and more.

Charley F. Brown leads the electrical, software and business methods team in the firm's patent group, and is a member of the IP litigation team. Brown is a registered patent attorney with substantial experience in patent prosecution and litigation.
