Outdoor Adventures spring trips are open for registration! Trips are open to UAF students, staff and faculty. This semester we will be offering a class on how to photograph the aurora, a skate ski clinic, Skiland shuttles, a Castner Glacier snowshoe and more!

Register for trips by calling 474-6027, stopping by the office in the Student Recreation Center, or online.

The SRC is also offering weekly cross-country ski lessons and fatbike rides.


  • Ski lessons: Every Tuesday at noon at the Outdoor Adventures office. $5 for students, with ski rental included. Just come to the office ready to be outside and we will get you skiing!

  • Fatbike Thursday: Every Thursday at 6 p.m.




    • Every Thursday at 6:00pm, we will be hosting a free group ride from the Outdoor Adventures office for students. Bikes are not included, so it is bring your own bike! Starting Thursday, Jan. 21, UAF Green Bikes will be offering fatbike rentals for $10 to students for Fatbike Thursday! Students will need their own helmets to rent a bike from Green Bikes.
