Outdoor Adventures's new  spring semester schedule is now online on Facebook page, OrgSync, and website. We are here to help students get out and enjoy the beauty of Alaska. Our trips and events are open to all students of all experience levels. We offer trips, rentals, academic classes, and two climbing facilities — the ice tower and the indoor climbing wall in the SRC.

We will be offering six academic classes this spring semester:

  • Introduction to Wilderness Leadership

  • Advanced Wilderness Leadership

  • two sections of Beginning Rock Climbing

  • Intermediate Rock Climbing

  • and Technical Ice Climbing.

Get more information at https://uaf.edu/recreation/outdoor-adventures/. You can register for our academic classes through your UAOnline portal.

Trip registration opens Monday, Jan. 14. You can sign up in the Outdoor Adventures Office, online or by phone at 474-6027. We will be offering everything from ice climbing to canoeing the Delta Clearwater river this spring. Popular trips fill fast, so make sure to take a look when they open up!
