Nominate candidates for Staff Council representative

It’s UAF Staff Council representative election time. This is where you have an opportunity
to decide on the UAF employees who will represent your concerns and needs to the leadership
of UA and UAF.
Nominations of candidates will be taken through Sept. 30. Fill out the nomination
Google form and have your choice on the upcoming ballot. Voting begins Oct. 10.
This year we will elect representatives for the odd-numbered Staff Council units and
at-large seats 1, 3 and 5. Elections are for two-year terms starting in January 2019.
With this election cycle, the way employees are associated with Staff Council units
has changed. Some UAF employees have changed to a different unit. You can find more
information about the change on the Staff Council website.
Visit our Staff Council unit finder tool to verify which unit you belong to. Those in odd-numbered units are welcome
to nominate themselves or a colleague to serve a two-year term representing that unit.
You may also nominate a staff member from any unit to an at-large position.
