Nov. 11 presentation commemorates 75th anniversary of lend-lease program

A presentation commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Alaska lend-lease program will be held Saturday, Nov. 11, from 4-5:30 p.m. in Gruening 306 on the Fairbanks campus. Ladd Field, now Fort Wainwright, was a hub during World War II from where Russian pilots flew American-made aircraft across Russia to the battlefronts.
