Nov. 2 Title IX training deadline

October 30, 2018

Tori Tragis

Remember — get your Title IX and AlcoholEdu training done by Friday, Nov. 2, so you are eligible for priority registration for the spring semester!

Title IX training is required for all associate to Ph.D. degree and certificate students. AlcoholEdu is required for all associate to Ph.D. degree and certificate students ages 24 and younger, and all students who live in university housing, regardless of age. The courses take about two hours (the refresher Title IX is about half an hour), and you can save your progress and come back the next day if you need to. The courses include optional surveys to help personalize your experience. All survey responses are anonymous. Get started at https://www.alaska.edu/ uaonline/.

To avoid technical issues, use any major web browser released within the last two years, and be sure the computer you use can play sound. If you’re on the Fairbanks campus and need access to a computer, review this list of computer labs, otherwise contact your local campus to find public computers in your area.

If you have past experiences with trauma related to sex and gender-based discrimination and would prefer not to take the Title IX training, please submit the opt-out request.
