Nominations open for fall 2021 orientation leaders

Nominate outstanding students to serve as orientation leaders during fall 2021 New Student Orientation! Orientation leaders share their knowledge and enthusiasm for UAF with new students while guiding them through a four-day orientation program designed to build a sense of belonging and connect students with the resources, programs and people here to help them succeed.

Orientation leaders will participate in an intensive training program from Aug. 13-17 before welcoming new Nanooks to the Troth Yeddha' campus during the fall New Student Orientation program from Aug. 18-21. Orientation leaders will be provided meals and a small stipend in return for their service. Orientation leaders with signed housing contacts will be permitted to move into the residence halls early at no cost to them.
