The ninth annual International Cyber-Conference on Dispute Resolution will take place Wednesday, April 10, from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Wood Center ballroom. Students, faculty, staff and community members to participate in this interactive discussion in an informal, town hall-style discussion that reaches around the globe.

For nearly a decade, the International Cyber-Conference, started in Alaska, has been a global dialog between students, Indigenous peacemakers, academics and the community to continue building safer and healthier communities all over the world.

The 2019 keynote speaker is Arun Gandhi, grandson of Mahatma Gandhi and founder of the M. K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence. He will address the importance of education in promoting peaceful communities.

The University of Alaska Fairbanks is joined by California State University Dominguez Hills, Salisbury University, the Native American Rights Fund and the University of Sao Paulo in co-hosting this event.
