The University of Alaska Museum of the North will host two events highlighting the fish collection this month.

On Friday, Dec. 13 from 7-9 p.m., the Night Out at UAMN event will feature beverages by HooDoo Brewing Company, live music by St. Animal, and unique specimens from the fish collection.

Tickets are $20 and all proceeds support the museum’s exhibits, research and education programs. Must be 21 years old to attend.

On Saturday, Dec. 14, from noon to 4 p.m., the museum will host its next Family Day, which will also focus on the fish collection. The event will allow visitors to explore hands-on science and ask fishy questions, and will include crafts and activities for all ages.

There is no admission for children 14 and under to Family Day activities.

For more information on either event or to purchase your tickets, call 907-474-7505 or visit the museum online at www.uaf.edu/museum/.
