A new initiative at The Well aims to support Ph.D. students and help them identify strategies to cope with the particular stresses of pursuing a doctoral degree.

The Well will host a monthly time and "space to breathe" during the 2020 spring semester for UAF Ph.D. students to gather, connect, offer support and openly discuss Ph.D. life and strategies to promote thriving and being well. Topics of conversation may include work-life balance, managing a Ph.D. committee, time management, and juggling a Ph.D. and family commitments.

The dates and times will be set to fit the schedules of those interested. To find out more or to get involved, email Mat Wooller at mjwooller@alaska.edu.
