The office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity is a great place to find new and upcoming opportunities for undergraduate research and creative projects!

Visit URSA's current opportunities at UAF page to find out what URSA's faculty is up to and possibly secure a position with them. URSA funding is available for these projects as long as your application meets the eligibility criteria.

Travel awards

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, URSA has had to change the format of its travel awards.

If you are accepted to present your research at a virtual conference or meeting, we will be happy to cover the registration fee to the conference. The same is true for students working on creative projects and wanting to participate or perform at an online event.

Those have a rolling acceptance through the year, so please apply any time!

For more details, please call URSA at 450-8772 or email ursa.uaf@alaska.edu
