Navy visit to promote research, funding opportunities

Students, staff and faculty are invited to learn more about Department of Navy Historically Black Colleges and Universities/Minority Institutions Programs Thursday, April 26. Sessions will be held from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in the BP Design Theater, Room 401 in the Engineering, Learning and Innovation Facility, or ELIF.

The goal of the visit is to expand awareness about the naval research, internship and fellowship opportunities available to minority-serving institutions such as UAF. UAF students and faculty will benefit by attending key sessions, identifying programs of interest and interacting with Navy program directors and program managers to learn about ways for the UAF community to get involved in many aspects of the program.
