National Suicide Prevention Week at UAF

The Nanook Diversity and Action Center has created a week full of events, trainings and campaigns for all students, staff and faculty to engage in suicide prevention.


Sept. 8:


  • #StopTheStigma Day

  • Free NSPW merchandise

  • Self-Care Planning Workshop


Sept. 9:

  • #PromoteYourPin Day

  • "It's Real: College Students and Mental Health" (Two events — one for faculty/staff and one for students)


Sept. 10:

  • World Suicide Prevention Day

  • QPR Suicide Prevention Training
