Nanooks open season at Kendall Hockey Classic

The Alaska Nanooks open their regular season schedule on the road in Anchorage, where they will participate in the 2012 Kendall Hockey Classic, hosted by University of Alaska Anchorage, this weekend (Oct. 12-13) at Sullivan Arena.
The Nanooks open the tournament against the Air Force Falcons (Atlantic Hockey) at 5:07 p.m. on Friday evening and then faceoff against the Canisius Golden Griffins (Atlantic Hockey) on Saturday at 4:07 p.m.
Both of Alaska's games can be watched live online at the Nanooks' Game Central along with live game statistics. The pair of games can also be heard live on 820sports.com with Alaska's play-by-play broadcaster Bruce Cech on the call along with former Nanook Scott Roselius of Tanana Valley Television.
Friday nights game will also air live locally on KFXF Fox 7 and statewide on GCI Cable's Channel 1 at 5 p.m. Alaska Time. Saturday's contest will air tape delayed in Fairbanks beginning at 8 p.m. AKT.
