Nanook Navigator training in October

September 23, 2019

University Relations

Faculty and staff can get training for Nanook Navigator, UAF's most recent student success tool. The training is conducted by Jessica Skipper, student success coordinator within the Division of General Studies and manager of Nanook Navigator.

Each week in October there will be a training session directed toward advisors — both faculty and staff — and a separate session directed towards instructors. You can sign up for the date and time that works best for your schedule, but there will be slightly different material presented at each type of session.

Nanook Navigator can be used by faculty and staff advisors to make appointments, issue and track early alerts, run reports, create watch lists and campaigns, and support students through various networking tools. Instructors may also use Nanook Navigator to assist with student intervention and success initiatives by monitoring student activities and initiating alerts. You can learn more on the Nanook Navigator website.

Please note that training sessions with no attendees signed up will be canceled.
