The University of Alaska Museum of the North will offer the final ARTSci Teen Studio program of the year on Saturday, Dec. 15.

The monthly program runs from 2-4 p.m. on Saturdays and offers a new theme that explores the connections between art and science. This month's theme will focus on faux taxidermy. Participants will make animal specimens using art materials and explore animal adaptations.

Teen Studio is open to 13- to 18-year-olds and is free with museum admission and for museum members. The program will resume in February 2019.  Pre-registration is required and teens can sign up for one event or an entire series. To register or for more information, visit bit.ly/uamnteenstudio or call 907-474-7505.
