The University of Alaska Museum of the North will offer this month's installment of the ARTSci teen program on Monday, Nov. 11, from noon-2 p.m.

This month's workshop will focus on optical illusions. Participants will learn about the science behind optical illusions and learn drawing techniques to create their own.

ARTSci workshops are open to 13- to 18-year-olds. Registration is $20, or $15 for museum members, and preregistration is required. To register for this month's workshop, visit bit.ly/uamnartsci or call 907-474-7505.

The museum will hold workshops in January and February as well. Information about those workshops will be online at http://bit.ly/artsciteen.
