The University of Alaska Museum of the North is offering two art workshops for adults in April. Participants will experiment with color, texture and materials. No previous experience is necessary.

The first workshop, Naturalist Printmaking, will be offered Tuesday, April 12, and Thursday, April 14, from 5–7 p.m. in the museum’s Creativity Lab. Participants will explore naturalist drawings and make copper plate prints using objects from the museum’s collections as inspiration.

The second workshop, Collage, is offered Monday, April 25, and Wednesday, April 27, from 5–7 p.m. in the museum’s Creativity Lab. Artists will experiment with a variety of materials and get inspired by museum objects.

Space is limited, so advance registration is required. The cost is $100 per person and $90 for museum members.
