Museum to host Family Day about food

The University of Alaska Museum of the North will host its next Family Day exploring the science, culture and art of food on Saturday, Oct. 11, from noon to 4 p.m.
Visitors can make art with food and hunt for food-related artifacts. Special guests from Calypso Farm, the Fairbanks Children’s Museum, Cooperative Extension and the UAF Children's Healthy Living Program will be on hand with activities.
