Museum Discovery Series planned for spring semester

16_Museum Discovery_ADThe University of Alaska Museum of the North has planned a new series of presentations for the spring semester. The Museum Discovery Series features a different curator each month unveiling new discoveries based on research in the museum’s collections. The presentations will be held in the museum auditorium on Thursdays at 6 p.m. and are free and open to the public.

This year’s series includes the following presentations:

  • March 24, “Climate Change and the Easter Bunny,” by Link Olson.

  • April 21, “Wonders of the Wandering Arctic Lamprey,” by Andres Lopez.

  • May 5, “Plant Identification: An Essential Life Skill?” by Steffi Ickert-Bond.
