Museum art workshops focus on nature through a microscope

The University of Alaska Museum of the North will offer art workshops in which participants can create art from nature viewed under a microscope.

A workshop for adults will be held Tuesday, May 28, from 5–7 p.m. Register online at bit.ly/uamnadulted. A family art workshop, for children ages 6 and up with an adult, will be held on Wednesday, May 29, from 4–6 p.m. Register online at bit.ly/uamnworkshops.

During both workshops, local artist Jennifer Moss will lead participants in looking at nature through a microscope and creating their own works of art on wood panels. No previous experience is necessary.
