Most offices at the University of Alaska Fairbanks will be closed for the winter break, Dec. 24, 2020, through Jan. 1, 2021. Many offices will also be closed or have reduced hours from Dec. 21-23.

Some offices and public venues will only close during parts of the break. The University of Alaska Museum of the North will be closed to the public from Dec. 21-25 and Dec. 28-Jan. 1. UAF’s Student Recreation Center will close at 3 p.m. on Dec. 24, and will be closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day. The UAF police and fire departments will remain open throughout the break.

UAF campus shuttles will not run during the campus closure. The Nenana and Yukon buses will run from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Dec. 23 and from Jan. 4-11.

Students will begin returning to campus on Jan. 8, when residence halls reopen. The first day of classes for the spring semester will be Monday, Jan. 11.
