Extension Week mini classes offered

The district Cooperative Extension Service office in Fairbanks will host more than a dozen free mini community classes on everything from Zumba to estate planning as part of its Spring Extension Week, April 21–25.

Other topics will include online privacy, GPS use, radon detection, raised-bed gardening, seed starting, science experiments for kids, healthy desserts, making meetings productive and more. Classes will run one to two hours. See the full schedule and class descriptions at www.uaf.edu/ces. Space is limited, so register at 474-1530.

The district office is located at 724 27th Ave., on the south side of the Fairbanks Community Food Bank building. The University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service is part of an educational network supported by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and land grant universities.
