Mingchu Zhang on sabbatical

Associate Professor Mingchu Zhang will be on sabbatical until April 30. He plans to
investigate peony-growing techniques in China and talk to potential UAF students.
He will also write a publication about using fish waste for composting.
During Zhang's absence, Meriam Karlsson will serve in his position as department chair
for the High Latitude Agriculture Department of the School of Natural Resources and Agricultural Sciences.
