Military and Veteran Services open house, Purple Heart recognition

UAF has been named a Purple Heart Campus by the Military Order of the Purple Heart,
Chapter 675. UAF is the only university in Alaska with such a designation. An open
house for the Department of Military and Veteran Services and a ceremony recognizing
UAF's commitment to Purple Heart recipients will be held in Signers' Hall Thursday,
Oct. 4, from 4-6 p.m. The Purple Heart Campus presentation will take place at 4:30
p.m.
