Midnight Sun Visiting Writers Series: Roger Wall

The Midnight Sun Visiting Writers Series presents a reading by Roger Wall on Friday, April 12, at 7 p.m. in Schaible Auditorium. Wall's dystopian adventure novel, "During-the-Event," is the winner of the 2018 Permafrost Book Prize and has recently been published by the University of Alaska Press. Wall will read from his winning manuscript then stay for a Q&A and to sign copies of his book.

The event is free and open to the public.

Roger Wall studied fiction writing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His writing explores the worlds of education, rural development in Africa, small town news, medicine, and grassroots environmental advocacy. "During-the-Event" is his first novel. He lives in New York and the Catskills.
