The Nanook Diversity and Action Center's book discussion in March will focus on Rebecca Solnit's 2008 essay collection, "Men Explain Things to Me."

In her comic, scathing essays, Solnit took on what often goes wrong in conversations between men and women. She wrote about men who wrongly assume they know things and wrongly assume women don't, about why this arises and how this aspect of the gender wars works, airing some of her own hilariously awful encounters.

The discussion will be held on Tuesday, March 28, at 5 p.m. in the Wood Center conference room. Eight books will be available for pick-up on Friday, March 10, in the NDAC office at 101K Wood Center. Those with their own copies are welcome to join the discussion.
