Medication Take Back event

The annual Medication Take Back event, sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration, will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26. To help with busy work schedules, UAF Police will accept any prescription medications between now and 2 p.m. on Oct. 26. Medications will be accepted without identifying the person contributing the medication and without commenting, inventorying or otherwise logging them. Anybody wanting to dispose of prescription medications can drop them off at the UAF Police station any time, day or night; just ring the buzzer at the front door and somebody will assist you.
