The Nanook Diversity and Action Center will host Take Back the Night on April 28 as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

The event will begin in Constitution Park at 6 p.m., and the group will march to Troth Yeddha' Park.

Sexual and domestic violence continues to occur in epidemic proportions throughout Alaska, and the UAF campus is not immune. Through this international event, people across the world take back the night by using their voices to speak out against sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual abuse and all other forms of sexual violence. The center welcomes all students, staff and faculty to walk.
