A new course, M-Cubed (Modularized Mastery Math), allows students to complete their developmental math sequence (DEVM 060 and 105) in one semester.

Students only need to work on the modules for which they do not already demonstrate mastery.

"M-Cubed is tailor-made for each student's needs," said Assistant Professor Kelly Houlton. "Students only pay for the modules they need, and the whole process is streamlined."

Houlton teaches developmental mathematics and designed M-Cubed to give students more options. Interested persons should contact her at klhoulton@alaska.edu.
