May 3, 2018

University Relations

Join KSUA and celebrate the end of the semester with live music and free burgers and hot dogs this Friday, May 4, at Constitution Park. The student-run campus radio station will get the summer started with four live bands performances from 3-7 p.m.

Local band Lexxi will start things off, followed by traveling progressive bluegrass duo My Woman, My Whiskey, and Me. The last acts will be Sundog, from Chugiak, Alaska, and The Jephries, from Anchorage.

ASUAF will provide food and drink, and will also collect nonperishable food donations for the Wood Center food pantry. Students and staff from the CTC Applied Business Department will host a dunk tank to raise money for a scholarship program for the UAF Summer Music Academy. KSUA staff will be available to talk about summer DJ opportunities and how you can get involved with local music and radio. We hope to see you there!
