Liederabend: An evening of German song

The Music Department and the Alaska Chapter of the National Association of Teachers
of Singing presents "Liederabend: An evening of German song" on Friday, March 9, at
7 p.m. at Fairbanks Lutheran Church. Come enjoy an evening of German song, presented
in a fashion similar to the salon evenings common during Schubert's time. Local NATS
Teachers Jaunelle Celaire, Kirsten Hutchinson, Amy Ingram and MaryCatherine Moroney
will explore a wide representation of German song by Mozart, Schubert, Strauss, Brahms
and Wagner.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in advance from the performers or at the door.
Proceeds will benefit the Alaska Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of
Singing.
