The University of Alaska Fairbanks Institute of Arctic Biology will host a free lecture, "Genetics, Genomics and Metagenomics in Wildlife Ecology," Friday, April 18, from 3-4 p.m. in the Murie Building auditorium.

Associate Professor of Wildlife Ecology Kris Hundertmark, who was a conservation geneticist with the Zoological Society of London and a wildlife biologist with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game for 20 years, will give the seminar, which is part of IAB's weekly Life Sciences Seminar Series.

Seminars are open to the public. Visitor parking and permit kiosks are located to the east of the Murie Building, behind the museum.
